The Lance Shah Charitable Fund is a not for profit 501(c)(3) federation that advocates for the protection and humane treatment of animals. The fund was created in remembrance for our beloved son, Lance, and his love for animals. From a very small age, Lance always found pleasure with animals. He was fond of many domestic animals and frequently played with them. He loved when dogs would walk past our home and always wanted to greet and play with the dogs. His favorite activity was getting “kisses” from these dogs! He was fascinated with wild animals and had a genuine interest in these animals and their natural behaviors.

Lance, even at an age of 3, was quite concerned about animals. He worried about their safety, where they would spend their nights, who would feed them and if their mommy and daddy would be with them. Unfortunately, Lance passed away on July 2nd 2013. Surviving him is his brother, Lucas, loving parents- Joanna and Binit, grandparents, caring family members, friends and a world full of adorable animals!

As a family, we have established this fund to help facilitate the fair and humane treatment of animals. All contributions to the fund are tax deductible and a 100% of all contributions are utilized to safeguard, feed, shelter and provide a loving environment to animals in need.
